I taught my first photography workshop for moms this month at the Yummy Mummy store in New York City. I particularly enjoyed teaching to this audience, since my daughter just turned one year old I understand how important it is to capture this fleeting time. The workshop focused on photography tips and techniques as well as great ideas for capturing those special every day moments.
Yummy Mummy is a boutique located on the upper east side of New York City, and is dedicated to enriching the breastfeeding experience by providing the information, products, and services that mothers need to make breastfeeding enjoyable, rewarding and stress free. I personally found Yummy Mummy to be a great resource for me at the time when I needed it. I also love the store as it is clean and modern, and has great products! Below are a few images of the inside of the boutique.

This month we unveiled photographs I created to decorate the walls of a childrens boutique, called Metro Minis, located on the upper east side of Manhattan at 75th Street and Park Avenue. Metro Minis specializes in natural parenting products, and the images below show many of the various baby carriers they offer as well as some baby toys. The beautiful model featured below is also the author of the very popular blog Marvelous Kiddo- it’s a great read! These are the images that are displayed in the store.
This image shows that it is possible to breastfeed while wearing a baby in a carrier.
Metro Minis holds baby wearing classes and this images was created for instructional purposes.
